Matt bought this CJ7 almost four years ago. It ran fine, but was still metal at the time, and the body was going to need some attention. Matt rebuilt the '84 from the ground up, cleaning up the frame and replacing the rotten metal with an AJ's fiberglass body tub.

The CJ sits on a 2.5" BDS Glide-ride suspension with heavy duty shackles. The springs, combined with a couple of inches of body lift, allow the use of 33" All-Terrains.

As of November 2002, Matt has just installed a brand new ATK 258 6-cylinder, complete with Weber performance carb, a header, and a Flowmaster exhaust. Other notable features include his homemade swaybar disconnects, a Borgeson steering shaft, and the AGR Super Box 2 power steering box.

Matt's plans for the future include some sort of heavy duty transmission and more aggressive tires, as well as new seats and doors.
